Fuel flap re-fitted, kind of grown on me now so will not be changing.

Also put a piece of rubber around live terminal of battery so that it will not short out if it comes loose

And another bit by the starter motor terminals (not tight)

This evening I need to modify the headrest as too restrictive to air flow into the carb intake.

Tonight we had an epic battle with the firewall, not so easy with the engine and body on now. First part took ages working out the where to put the fixings and then finding out you can't get a drill in there now.

Well that was a long day, finished at half past midnight tonight. Lots of little jobs but took so long.
Accelerator springs re-fitted on carb and everything else checked.

System filled up and bled easily through these 2 bleed nipples we fitted to each of the water ways after the weekends test run.

Fan fitted to rad with horrible little fixings supplied(may make a shroud later)

New oil pressure gauge fitted, changed from electric to capillary.

Made the air intake to the carb, not finished in this picture.

Cleaned the blue protective cover off the tyre's.

And spent the rest of the day setting up the front end, balancing the wheels and doing the tracking.
Then put the stickers on
