Tom's, mine & Archie's XS650 Yams.
So what's the collective noun for a bunch of those? An excess of XSs I guess.
Love your kickstart/sidestand Archie!

So my girlfriend decided to leave last weekend and its given me the kick up the ar5e to get this done. So Darren moved it down the road for me this week and I'm doing the little jobs that need doing to get it running in the evenings after work. There's a few annoying ones, but doing a couple each day will soon see them done.

So far I've mocked up where the battery is needs to go, chopped out some frame that was in the way, sussed the broken wiring (hopefully), bolted the engine in, remounted the carbs and made up a fuel line with an inline tap to hopefully stop the poor fuelling issues.

Here's some pics

Pretty much the same as before, but now made of steel and going to be mounted on 4 tabs so should be solid!

Got my battery box on today. Was hoping to get the wiring fixed and see if it would crank, but I can't find the keys anywhere. Bugger.

Picking up another xs lump tomorrow too so will put that to one side for something else.

And the more I think about it the more I want mid mounted controls. I think it would make it a bit easier and more enjoyable to ride.

Chucked some fuel in and off she went.

Now I need to split the loom to get it into the box.

Loud. So loud.
