start bending the longest parts first if these go wrong use them for smaller parts  if they cant be used for bends then you can use them for staights. pick out the info that you can  relate to  and try your first bend  you may find it can be relitivly easy or it may be done  in a differant way take time  and it will be easy   and when finished you will wonder what all the worry was about  and all the good comments will make it worthwhile good luck

I know funds are limited VB, but at the end of the day, what've you got to lose? It's a hobby, a fun thing, something you're doing for your own amusement. If it takes a few attempts to get it right, so what. You'll have learnt a new skill & have something to show for your efforts. A damn sight better than drinking the money away in the pub or slumping in front or the telly doing nothing like most people seem to. Get out there & get stuck in!  Grin

vb ask shabby or texon how many times i have cocked up its part of the learnin curve been at it all my life and still learnin hardest part is takin the first step i still remember putin a reliant axle on and it havin 4 reverse and 1 forward gear nearly killed myself on full throttle and like its bin said plenty of help on here as the only stupid question is the one you didnt ask try bending a short or scrap piece first to get a feel for the bender and as has been said a thousand times before measure twice cut/bend once

trying to get used to the slightly slanting engine and box now..its running at 3 degrees off 90.. excuse the pic through the windy but i cant get far enough away fom the project to take a pic side on Sad

hehe yeah i pmed TBone and im getting some of his tube next week to try out on so the panics of really, gonna ave to see if i can nick halve an inch of the front though as i cant get used to it being a slanted engine Smiley

when you put the front end on you might find it will settle half an inch so it will sit level Wink and keep them pics comming I`m getting excited
