My Webbers say "400COE32" on them, or possibly "40DCOE32" -hard to read. They measure 40mm across the mouths anyway. Wonder how they'd perform on my Rover V8?

40 DCOE and yeah they'd be Ok, build a plenum with 8 individual runners and mount the carbs sticking out each side. Or, see if you could find an old boxer manifold and have four SU's, two a side. Or stick a single 360 Holley on top. Do you have the standard twin SU manifold ?, make an adaptor to mount the Webbers into that.

Yup, the SUs are hooked up & working. Just wondering if we'll have the room under the bonnet for them. A Holley straight through the top of the bonnet will be the answer if we haven't.

Dai's on the job!!!  a term i used to use when in work meaning dilemma !! ok i have to run the axle at an angle to accommodate the sump nut at the front "it sits very low" to ensure i have enough clearance for speed bumps etc. pics below to explain, im also close to bending pipe and this is making me feel it gonna feck up,"costy of the pipe is in me head" atm i have a 16 tonne bender but may have to rent a staffa for a week or too? God i wish i didnt live on the outskirts to now where Sad

The pipe is in gloucester, you`ll have to cross that bridge again!  Cheesy
There`s 6 lengths that are 20 odd feet (my tape measure stops at 16ft) and a short bit about 12ft long.
