That's a shame mate. I've stopped giving myself deadlines now. Mine'll be ready when it's ready.
Keep plugging away Chris.

Post things like that to our club you end up with 30 or 40 drunken bums as house guests for a weekend and still get nothing done. Your club is obviously more civilised than mine  Grin Grin Grin Grin

update time.

as you can see pat is cracking on with the paint, having to remove all the grey & redoxide that some prat brushed on!!!

todays progress was brakes all plumbed in(need longer front flexis though) clutch cable fitted, steering shaft fitted. does'nt sound a lot but nothing went to plan or as straight forward as it should of been. got a list of stuff to get, but jobs list is(hopefully) getting shorter.

big thanks to pat and jenny again. x.

most of trim removed, o/s headlight needs rivets drilling out.

this shows how much work pat is putting into body work, rear lights will be removed once wet sanding above them has finished.

white roof again!!!

door handles will be removed, but we've chickened out on taking windows out!!!

lots of work involved with fitting servo/master cyl. all done by pat. this and clutch(converted to cable) all work of standard pedal box.

corsa 70amp alternator fitted, all custom brackets.

here you can just see the new sliding steering shaft, connected to a steering rack, and yes it all works correct!!! that was a big moment this afternoon when the wheels turned the correct way!!!

not a show winning build, but done to a hell of a tight budget.

will update as things progress.
