need to trim the tanks to let the clocks down but it's getting there,just thought i'd reuse the original
clocks as i had em and they sort of fit the style of the dash... i think

made a towing dolly yesterday evening as the trike has to go to have an alloy petrol tank made

attached to the frame so no double articulation the only disadvantage is you have to lift it on to the car your towing it with but at the minute i have no problem doing that

well on to the brakes,do you wish you'd never started something,fecking brake fluid fecking everywhere from every ,joint brake end, EVERYWHERE

does anyone know if copper/nickle alloy is harder to get sealed than just plain copper? Alan who's helping me is a mechanic and has a good flairing tool so that's not the problem but we had to tightin every joint to
almost striping point to get the leaks to stop but all sorted now.

Piped for split brakeing 2 rear one front,need to finish the pedal and get some new front pads and then we can test it out.

how good should the brakes be with this setup ? and at least we will know we are ball park.

front end dives slightly and rears lock if you stand on the pedal with about 1 1/2 inches of travel does this sound about right,I've never even riden a trike so don't know what to expect

Kunifer pipe is slightly more ridged than plain copper but I have never had any problems. Did you lubricate the flaring dies?
You definitely want the backs to lock before the front  (locking up the front on a busy, wet roundabout is NOT fun) Should be able to do so with a hard push from the seated position. Until you get it on the road and the brakes all bed in it's difficult to tell how they will behave.

Thanks ON you have just answered several of my questions.yes dies were lub'ed ok but they just seem to need that little extra nip up to stop leak's probably accounted for by the extra hardness and now with the pedals finished the brakes feel much better but as you say need bedding in.

If all else fails I'll put an adjustable regulator on the back bone where the copper meets the braided hose if front end locking happens

Like the tow bar, hope that single mount under front of engine is man enough as it looks to be taking all the weight.
