got a start on the foot pegs tonight.decided to put the pivot through the frame so marked and squared
and drilled some holes!

A little progress

just checking the they are opposite each other before welding

Alan made these inserts on the lathe. they are 22mm outside and 19mm inside.
the bush to be used is from a mercedes lorry rear brake bias lever and have a 16mm hole
for the pivot to go through.they are cheap and easily available should they need replaced

with the inserts now welded to the frame all i need to do now is make some pedals and pegs
and we're good!

cylinder is going just behind the front seat battery one side of the prop and electric box on the other
hoping to put the fuel filler between the frame and the seat on one side and the ign switch on the other

you know you could be right there Pete  Grin i just assumed that it was the one in the picture.
The brake cylinder will be just behind the gearbox crossmember and rod operated via an idler
so the rod pulls rather than pushing and allows me to alter the pedal ratio
