Lookin' good! Quick word of caution to prospective builders- don't forget to leave enough room under the top tube, particularly at the back, to get the engine rocker cover off to set the tappets & to remove the engine from the frame. Not that I've ever built a frame then found I couldn't, honest.  |

Nowt wrong with the std fan except that it's quite offset. If you fit the a Reliant or Mini radiator symetrical to the frame, the fan sticks out on the nearside. The fan is also quite thick meaning you need a large gap between engine and rad.

I hope that I have left enough room!?? with a bit of tidying of the pipes and stuff that are on top of the engine will leave a bit more room
on that subject is it simply a matter of joining the 2 heater piped together to complete the water circuit?
As far as the fan goes I'm keeping it if i can as i might not want to run a car battery and the less load i have on the electrical system the better i figure it will be and also i already have it so it's free!

Don't forget thermostat housing isn't angled out to the inlet of the radiator if too tight nightmare for the hose to do an s shape to connect I made my own stat housing angled out  A little progress And yes that was/is a stainless handrail 'end' lol |

Nice solution to the thermostat housing problem At the moment I have a very tight s bend and am not really happy with the strain it's putting on the rad. Why the f### did reliant have to be different and not equispace the bolt holes. |

Yes I found that out when I designed the flange plate.. I'm getting cut some 3mm mild soon I can add one on for you if you go that route may get some gusset plates too oo gussets |
