busy again this sunny day first removed old handbrake lever, teenage fingers are great for getting into them fiddly little places where short stubby ones just will not fit and usually come out with an inch of skin missing then drilled out both lugs ,step drills are an amazing bit of kit

a bit more chopping today to remove unwanted brackets to fit gear linkage turned out not to be easy as expected cos whoever welded these on didn't want them to fall off , really heavy duty welding which in itself is a good thing but causes son of mine to break out into a cursing frenzy any we had too remove the bottom section of the frame which carries the engine a very ingenious idea indeed

if you take both sides away the whole engine drops away from the frame whatever will they think of next gear linkage in situ just need some backets to make it work and having a good hard look at the thing its gonna need footplates instead of pegs which isn't the way he wanted to go ,so any one out there got a pair of footboards for a guzzi or any ideas on what else to do please don't bother with postcards just a post on here will do
