Evening all, firstly I need thank Nick Conner, Gareth Kent, Chris Thomas and Jamie McCloed-Ross for their assistance with this project as I know it would all be a pipe dream without them. So being recently single and time on my hands in 2013 I started messing about with foam in lounge( like you do ) and ended up with a full size bellytank 12ft10" by 36". Only have one picture of that at the moment but the lounge/house was full of bits of foam but as it was only me and the dog, who cares. Eventually the foam body was moved to my lockup in two halves and placed on a level base where it was decided to add another 12" to the length after Gareth had CAD drawn it with some known components we intended on using. 12 Large tubs of body filler later (£48 for 3 @reading paints) and about 6 months it was done. Thanks to Jamie ( BWM Ribs ) who came to the lockup and laid up the fibreglass for me resulting in 1 mold which was the moved to Jamies workshop. A few days later and I had 2 halves of a tank, and yes I still have the mold and can make more. Then the two halves where moved back to my lockup by Scottie while I collected the rest of the parts. Maybe it looks like a whale on Porpoise? I've only worked with fibreglass once & ended up wearing most of it -for about a week. Horrible, sticky, stinky, scratchy stuff. I have the utmost admiration for anyone that can actually create something useful from it. That's quite a deep looking belly tank -looks more like a road going one that a racing one I wonder whether that'd be feasible through BIVA? Was the lounge full of polystyrene the reason you were suddenly single?

When you watch someone who works with fibreglass all day and has the right tools, brushes and acetone and waxes it can actually be quite a clean process. The tank only measures about 35" tall and the tyres are about 29" but the design does involve a flat bottom anyway. As for the foam round the house, I think I enjoyed it as the ex was super house proud so I was maybe rebelling a bit. Even to this day I can still hoover up the odd bit 3 years later.

Something completely different ! Great. Maybe it looks like a whale on Porpoise? I wonder whether that'd be feasible through BIVA?
See no reason why not. Always thought a drop-tank tadpole trike could look neat.
