Hi everyone
Just wondered if anyone has info regarding a thermal switch to turn fan on/off.

1st, do you know what thread size/pitch the original reliant temperature sender is?

2nd, do you know of an alternative switch unit that will fit in its place to turn fan on + off?

Cheers

Thanks for that Fifer.
Ive already got the electric fan fitted now looking for a thermal switch to operate it. I was hoping to find a 3/8" x 18 unf swicth unit to replace the original Reliant sender unit.

I saw quite a few where you stuffed a cable/probe into the water flow of the rubber pipe and just clamped it with the jubilee clip. I wasn't happy with that so splashed out (no pun intended) on an ali T piece bit from Mini Sport, just split rubber tube and slide on each side of the T (passes straight through) and the switch sits in from the top. Just wire straight from thermoswitch to Subaru fan Smiley
