He put a lot of work into repairing the front grille panel -good enough for several people to assume it's a pattern panel.

A slightly arse up, 70s stance, but otherwise, it still looks completely stock. You'd never know there's a 3 1/2 litre V8 in there.

Chris's other toy. His Chevy pick-up, bought from Tom, (who's XS650's also in the workshop).
Chris has replaced the ball joints, bushes, brake lines etc & just MOT'd it, but it's been running a bit rough. Disconnecting the EGR valve seemed to make a big improvement, though it now seems to be running rich.
He very carefully test drove it around the yard.

Haven't posted in this thread for ages.
A couple of snaps taken this afternoon of Tom's XS650 Yam' -now more or less ready for stripping down for paint n stuff. Parked in front of my Pop pick-up, which isn't far from being back on the road after an 18 month re-fit.
Chris's Moggy Minor's languishing under a tarpaulin outside the workshop at the moment, while he pursues his drag racing ambitions in his Chevy pick-up. This weekend he's racing at Santa Pod in Bedfordshire & York Raceway in the UK Power Tour series.

My Pop, Tom's Yam, Loony's workshop -that's Mr Loon, the Hampshire New York skater punk.  Cool
