Since my recent radius arm disaster on my mono-shock Honda trike, I've decided to modify the radius arm to axle mounts for my current trike project, based on a 750 Virago, pics below. These should rely less on the welds fixing them to the axle tubes, and act in a "towing" mode, or at least thats the intention! the side "fish" plates, one either side, are welded in place once the bracket is finally positioned on the axle tube, hopefully an improvement, Morrag

Cheated, well sort off, machined a piece of tube to correct bore to suit the Reliants 2"-ish axle tubes, and cut it in half, lengthwise. Full welded the riight angled prefabed angle piece extention, drilling to suit radius arm end plates first.......now my dark secret is revealed Mr.MM!! Morrag

Sensible way of doing it. Looks rather spiffing.  Smiley
