Thanks guys but the credit must go to Manky. He tells me what to do and I do it. Learning as I go.

While I was at work Manky mocked the trike up. The engine is at the correct height to the axle and the gearbox is 8" away, (that's the shortest we can have the prop shaft). The sump is 7" off ground level so should have no problems with speed humps. The forks are propped up to a 45 degree angle.

Taz has many strange abilities, most of which baffle me.  Tongue
She's sat on an upturned storage box, same as the ones on the shelves behind her. Seat height will be somewhere around 20 inches. We've got a tractor seat, donated by Twisted Patience, which will need a little work to be useable, or the fibreglass seat pan we picked up from Ron. Not decided which to go with yet.

We're running seriously short of time with this one now! Supposed to be showing a rolling chassis at the Basingstoke show on Sunday & we haven't cut or tacked a single tube yet! Argh! I hate deadlines.
A late night at the Ace Cafe last night, sorting out the resultant photos & getting them posted on the site put paid to most of this morning, then we had to nip out to B & Q, so it was mid afternoon before anything got done. Then we had to stop at tea time to turn some of the ponies out into the field, so bugger all achieved again. We've really got to hit this hard tomorrow, or we're going to end up showing it as a trike frame in kit form -actually, not such a bad idea!
Finished off the front engine mounts & made a start on the axle clamps.

No safety net either.
Don't try this at home kids. I'm a trained, professional monkey.

Thanks Doc, but FLC gave us a big old Suzuki headlight which suits the width of the forks nicely.
Right, this may take a while as Manky and I haven't really stopped today, trying to get my frame up to at least a basic form for the Basingstoke show. I'm gonna sleep for a week once its finished. Not sure where to start with explaining everything. First off Manky cut and made up my axle clamps while I tried to scallop the top of the front down tubes to take the headstock. Once that was done we cut a tube to act as a gearbox cross member. We made up a brace to go between the front down tubes too and also the engine mounts were lined up and welded on to the frame. I took so many photos I think they can almost explain what we did better than I can.
We haven't welded the headstock yet but will hopefully do that in the morning.
So here they are:
