i've been looking at smart engines, in there own subframe complete with suspension.

A mate of mine had one in his workshop for a while, (just the engine). I wondered about using it in a trike, but they're "fly by wire" with all sorts of sensors & stuff. Really needed the entire wiring loom too.

also a twin diesel has flashed through me mind a few times, but would sound like a dump truck!!!!
