I've got round the back axle problem by buying a Suzuki Vitara axle which has the same stud pcd as the 35 Ford wires... and it was a massive £20 off the bay

yup drums, you do need some rings to fit between the hub and the rim to stop the rims cracking but its a darn sight easier than converting 4 stud to 5...

the 35 rims have raised backs around the stud holes so will not sit fully against a flat drum from a later car, the rings are machined so that the whole of the rim sits flat against the drum leaving no weak spot's.. hope that makes sense
