Every year we put the banners away & say next year, we'll be organised. Never happened yet.
I'd love to have a much more spectacular pitch. Something wacky that really brings in the punters.
I'd really like a pair of life size monkey sculptures, sitting cross legged, holding the banners.
Maybe we should start work on it now!

Terry, in case I didn't say it, really appreciated you hanging on with Brock to keep an eye on the last of the bits & pieces while I took a vanful back to the workshop. We always seem to be the last people standing at the end of the day. Always suprises me how quickly it all disappears & reverts to being a normal public park again.

Do you need to be a FaceBook member to view your pics Nik? Won't let me see them, (I refuse to join the Book of Face on principle cos Taz spends her life on it -usually chatting to the people she's been working with all day).

Yeah they are, I need to renew my Flickr account. I'll do that this week and post them up.  Grin

In Facebook, at the bottom of your album it gives you a public link to cut and paste so anyone can see your phots !

I'm on facebook and it still won't let me see them  Huh Huh

Yup. Chris, (Phunkie HighBoy)'s charity custom show, about 10 miles from Basingstoke. Check the events calendar at the top of this page.
I couldn't make it last year, but he's always supported us, so it's the least I can do to go along & return the favour. Won't be in the Pop, but I'll certainly drop some pennies in his collecting tin.

Bazz, the other Pop pick-up belongs to Dave ...nope, forgotten his surname. Tall guy, white jacket, glasses, flat cap. My big bro, Steve, (Brock), & his lady wife Lesley, (Black Pig), brought along the Black Pig Too drag car. They race with the "Wild Bunch" nostalgia racing club.
Hiya.....having looked at and edited my video footage I can now see that it's not Brock, thanks  Smiley It was great to see the Black Pig Too in the flesh, having read the thread. The tiny seating space is INSANE !!!!!  Shocked Shocked  Made me think about getting myself to a Drag Meet this Summer...
I put the video footage my Son took onto Youtube;     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNnKVKOb4Sk

Hiya....either will do, I don't mind  Smiley
I have my own set of videos in a seperate playlist on my Basketcase3 Youtube site ; http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAFD6A78DD9E07AB1&feature=plcp
Channel 4 recently did 4 programs about Urban Foxes that I was on for 2 minutes on Tuesday, about feeding them, on the 3rd show. It can be seen on 'catchup' for a couple more weeks; http://www.channel4.com/programmes/foxes-live-wild-in-the-city/4od#3329393   The footage of me begins just after 27:30ish...   Wink  A 'catch-phrase' was going on, on Radio 1 for a while after that.,......."Eat the egg.....the egg....eat the egg..."  LOL  Grin
