Hmmm CAKE!!!!!!!!!! Grin
I'll be there. I broke the sprinter out of the shed yesterday. Put a battery on it and a squirt of go juice and she started straight away so I will throw it on the trailer. See you there.

Right, huge thanks to Mr Snafu who, with luck, can arrange a discounted rental van for me, (I need to lug Taz's part built trike from our shed in Surrey, plus my part built Yamaha from PD's garage in Hampshire, plus the marquee from Loony's place etc).
As Bobbi's pointed out, the weather's forcast as sunny on Sunday
-so let's do it.
We always lose a few names from the list as the show approaches -not complaining, it's just the way it goes unfortunately -so if anyone else can make it down to Hampshire for the day, with something interesting to show, get in touch please.
As we've said, we don't do a lot, just park up, spend the morning wrestling with the marquee, then chat & munch donuts for the afternoon, but it's a good excuse to put faces to forum names & exchange ideas. Come along & say Hello.
Things needed at the moment if anyone has them:
Spare tent pegs, spare guy ropes, (just in case),
gaffer tape,
large plastic ground sheet/tarpaulin for the marquee,
seating, (I'll bring half a dozen wooden patio chairs),
trestle table,
Anything you think would keep us amused for the afternoon, without getting us slung out -music, a pile of custom magazines to browse etc. Not sure if we're allowed barbeques, (probably not -I doubt we'd be allowed naked flames near vehicles & the show's run by the council so their health & safety reps will be onsite), but any food & drink you want.
We'll supply an A4 sized information sheet & a board to pin it to for each vehicle, but if you have any display material of your own for your machine, feel free to bring it, as long as it's reasonably sized & doesn't take up half the pitch.

I'll conatct everyone on the list in the next couple of days with my mobile number. Look forward to seeing you all.  Wink

Rod, they take one look at a trike and say "You're with the Manky Monkeys" - we're famous!

Me and the galaxie will be there. If you want some more vehicles for the pitch I can ask around and see if any more of the guzzlers are free.

Bugger Mukit -if it were a Reliant I could help with spares. Come along anyway mate.
Mr Rod, if you're on the list, you're coming in! I'll PM or email everyone my mobile number in the next couple of days. Just shout when you get to the gate & I'll nip up with a pass, but as Bobbi says, they usually just wave the Manky looking ones through.
Mr Pie, I'm aiming to be there around 8am, but I'm not the most organised Monkey in the World -that's why they call me Manky.  Tongue All vehicles have to be onsite by 10.30 latest.
Mr Gal  ...no, that don't sound right. Nathan, glad to hear you're still on the list! We usually try to keep it to a forum members meet, but as you can see, we've got room for a couple more. We'll put you down as Galaxie & guests.  Wink (the Guzzlers are the local custom car club in Basingstoke by the way folks. They came along to the Pop fire up night at Loony's workshop & are good mates).

So at the moment, we've got 7 bikes, 7 trikes & 5 cars with maybe another couple of trikes & cars to add.
