Had an interesting afternoon at the workshop today, making handlebars for Twisted's trike with Craig & Ryan. A big ol' pair of beach bars. Nice work Craig.

nabism, its a hand tool thing ha ha. unfortunately no, i do not own a grinder or flap wheel but a fella at work has a grinder he will lend me so then i will buy said wheel to fit and let the fun begin. old newbie, yes it is a clean work bench but thats the problem! its a "work" work bench not a "home" work bench i have no such room at my home to work. will be grinding in the garden under the security light over the next few days i think.

Hope you've got a vice in your garden or at least a B&D workmate otherwise be carefull with that grinder No honestly holding onto something the shape of those bars and an angle grinder at the same time is a no-no.

i gave up waiting on the guy at work, so went out at lunchtime and bought a grinder . they were all out of flap disks though . so will get one off ebay and have to sit and wait for it to come. dont worry, i have goggles from work and a vice that belonged to my grandad (who was an engineer) that my nan gave me before she passed on. now i get to put it to some good use . and my foot when i cant use the vice
