Oh wise monkeys................. I asked about this a long time back ,have done a 'search' but cant find it..... Im really struggling to sort out indicator /hazard wiring. When I built my Locost,I did this a totally different way,but I now want to sort this correctly on the trike. I cant seem to find a wiring diagram or what is actually needed. Do the hazards work on a seperate relay ,or can you get a relay that combines indicators/hazards? Although the indicator switch will be on the 'bars,I presume I can mount the hazard switch out of sight, therefore I wont be able to reach it without letting go of the 'bars? Is this ok for msva? (I will have the warning lamp for the hazards visible from the driving position) Will I be able to get a combined indicator /hazard relay that will be powerful enuf to use for trailer lighting as well? Thanks Rod

hi rod i brought a kit from the same place, very easy to fit has 4 wise two green witch go into the live on your indicators one each side, one red wire with in line fuse that go,s direct to the live on the battery so they work with out the ignition switched on, and the black to earth, can fit in a few Min's he sends you a easy to follow wiring diagram with them as well.zak

All you need to do is make sure the relay will operate the required number of bulbs (4) that should do for the trailer board too The connect a switch that is DPST (Dual Pole Single throw) If you can get one use a DPDT (Dual Pole Single Throw) Take a feed from the wire that goes from the flasher relay to the indicator switch and connect it to both connectors on one side of the switch. The other two connectors on the switch should have a wire each get connected seperately to the left and right signals. Circuit to follow Oh and you don't to have it on the bars just within easy reach of the riding position.

I used a kit like that on the reliant, I added another toggle switch out of sight on the live from the battery so I could isolate the hazards when I parked up so toerags err children, couldn't switch them on and flatten the battery

i just put a switch between the left and right indicators live (bridges them together) so you flick that switch then turn ither of the indicators on and hey presto 4 way flashers,, costs about £1.50 for the switch

Hazards need to operate with ignition off and key removed though. Not sure if you are just retro fitting to already registered trike though
