As with all motorsport, the people behind the scenes make it happen, so a big thanks to them and esp the marshals who are all volunteers (tho they do seem to get a view of what's going on........... Grin)

Some of the bike racers from the recent TT were at this year's Festival of Speed, along with legend Sir John Surtees (the only man to be world champion on 2 wheels and 4).

This is Keith Amor (left) talking to John McGuinness.

John has 17 TT wins under his belt and was the first rider to average the Mountain circut at over 130mph. The bike he first achived that on is the one he was riding today.

The one and only John Surtees, standing by a display-only MV Augusta.

For this weekend, John was riding a 1938  BMW type 255 from 1968. Although only 500cc, it is supercharged.  Cheesy
