Looks like its gonna be one poxy bank holiday for me......So far today & its not even 1pm yet! ......
Day started OK & I managed to get 2 sets of Harley tinwork ( 2 tanks, 5 mudguards & a battery box) basecoated up & good to hit again tomorrow after flatting...
I then think its a good idea to get a small scratch on the Trikes petrol tank sorted out before doing the Monkey World run & the Pickets show...
The repair went great & all polished in nice & not noticeable........
I walk out to go fit it to the Trike & my backs been giving me grief last few days but seemed fine today as only twinging....back spasms & my hands decide to join it.....
I now have a Petrol tank that not only hit the my driveway as I dropped it caving in the corner but then decided to slide on its front for a foot or so!.....paintwork is totally bolloxed & I only have 1/4 of a litre of it left....Which ain't enough to repaint it......Ive either got to do a complete repaint on the trike or come up with something creative for the petrol tank?
Or just Prime it up & use the Trike over the holiday then order more paint ( which ain't cheap as i had to pick a silly colour lol) & paint it next week?
Anyway here's a pic or 2 of the damage which I've started to repair....Voodoo....
