fair enough have a go if you are able but if like that old lady you are just rushing in without any thought or the ability to defend yourself then it could end up with someone dead if the criminals are desperate enough to get away..Voodoo...
She seemed able enough to me! Not many defences against a well wealded sledge hammer spring to mind, you could shoot the b******s, oh hang on, we aint allowed guns in this nanny country.
The fight or flight reflex isn`t something you actively think about, you either act or turn away.
A sad reflection on society that it takes a pensioner to "have a go" before anyone else steps in to help though.
I fail to understand it too, if more people took the initiative there would be far less crime, but hey, its the job of the police to stop `em aint it! and we dont like them do we. (sarcasm)
Where is the sence of pride in our towns, communities or country? Beaten out of us by heavy taxation, officiuos rules and regulations and the sod you, i`m alright jack mentality that is endemic in society.
