popped along to this little aircraft museum out woodley way near reading yesterday. some interesting stuff there but a bit cold. i enjoyed looking at the models that were on display. i can appreciate the work that goes into these. it was interesting reading about the history of the area during ww2. very cheap to visit only £3.50 for adults.
we're gonna organise a triumph cruise out to it about march for the register and tssc members.

scale 'v' bomber victor. i believe they were called 'v' bombers as they all started with the letter 'v', victor, valiant and vulcan.

I went there once as it was a 'Round Britain Rally' landmark - I have no particular interest in planes but I thought it was interesting - once I found it, that is!

Where exactly is that then?
When I left school in '78 I served a 4 year apprenticeship as a printer at Huntley, Boorne & Stevens, a biscuit tin & aerosol printing company. The factory was on the old Woodley aerodrome site, just outside Reading, Berkshire.
