hi , does anyone no what the thread of the studs holding the two halves of the axle case are ?
i no the nuts are 7/16 unf but the end going into the alloy case is a lot courser , unc or maybe whitworth any one no ?

 Grin no problem. You`ll find that when you have a threaded hole in a softer material, it`ll always be a coarse thread.
The coarser thread means less threads per inch and more of the original material in the hole. A fine thread will be more prone to stripping  Grin
