Hiya Nomad. Welcome to our World of Mank mate! And thanks for the kind words Bobbi!
Hmm, '56 Chevy -not the one in the Street Cars section is it? Fancy sending in some piccies & a quick write up for the Motors page? Ha! First post & I'm nagging him to contribute already!  Grin Nice to meet you.

Link above includes some pictures of the Chevy. Taken weekend just gone in Norfolk.
Trigger the Staff is my dog, and I'm the one in dodgy shorts.

Up until 2 months ago I was regularly in your manor as I was doing a lot of Surveys in the Tadley/Popley area. Sadly I'm now over Twickenham way during the day.

Aah -Chevy Nomad station wagon. That makes sense! That's a gorgeous looking car you have there Sir. Were you at Billing the other week? I spotted at least one cherry red Nomad there. Lovely photos too. Can we use those? Got any of the interior? Engine? You posing with it?! If you could jot down a few hundred words, just a basic spec' list, or a few owner's annecdotes, or anything you want really, we could make it up into a page in the Motors section.
Were you working on the new mini-town they're building at Popley then?

Its actually not a Nomad (they had 2 doors and angled B posts) but its easier to call it that for the sake of conversation Wink

I couldnt make Billing but there is at least one other lurking around.
Please feel free to lift any of the photos from the first site or this one.............

Ok, brief spec.....
Tweaked 305ci.
TH350 with shift kit.
Heidt front clip with 11 inch rotors.
TCI rear suspension.
Retrimmed.
Digi guages etc.
Painless wiring.

When Ive got a few minutes I will get a bit more into depth about the history of the car and mebbe some info on the custom bikes.

Popley, nah, not the new bit. Some knackered houses that a Housing Assoc was selling off.

Perfect! Couldn't ask for better piccies than that. Grin It photographs well doesn't it. Yeah, a little more in depth on the car would be nice then we can do something with it.
Yoda, our resident web genius, is ultra busy at the moment & I haven't got a clue how to create web pages -but I'm trying to learn, so bear with us & it'll be posted in the Motors section as soon as possible.  Grin
By the way, you doing the Nostalgia Nationals next weekend?

She is photogenic and looks as good in the flesh with a quick inspection. However some of the chrome is iffy and there are some bubbles coming through at the bottom of the tailgate/rear doors. Coming apart this winter and maybe getting some hot rod flames.

Hmmm....Nostalgia Nats.........problem is there is so much going on.
Motoring Pageant at Hop Farm.
NCC show as well, plus im away at bike rally in Wales this weekend (Moon Rally).
I will have a chat with HQ and let you know...many from here going?

Miss Wizzkit & myself will be at the NCC Diamond Day show at the Ace Cafe on Saturday. You going Yodie? And my brother Steve, ("Brock"), will be racing the Black Pig, (see the Motors, 4 wheels section), at the Nostalgia meet. I'll be there to cheer him on, take photos & generally get in the way.

Ok then, might do both. I used to be in the NCC so it would be good to catch up. Problem is the chop is a single seat and girly wants to come and play. And as you know the Ace is small and my car is BIG.
I would stick my moby number so we could hook up but its a work one and gives a bit to much info.

I'll be there in a borrowed car or maybe a hire car both times. Will be in one of the MMMotors black button up shirts, clutching a little digi camera. See you there then.  Grin
