Hi Merv, have you had any luck with these yet?
I dont think i have any 2" ID tube in the shed, will take a look for you but that wont be until monday.
There are other options available to you though. I was considering using flat plates bolted together using 3 crush tubes top & bottom of the axle, the centre crush tube could be welded to the axle as an anti-rotation device.

Sorry Merv, as i thought, no tube...........
But i did find 2 clamps that i`d nearly made earlier.
I started a pair but abandonded them when i went for an MGB axle instead of a Reliant one.
They need finishing off, but are complete. I`ll sort a picture later............

Watkins & Powis....Turn right at McDonalds, off the bristol road, follow the road round to the left and they`re on the left hand side.
The stuff comes in 9.5mtr lengths so get them to chop it into 2x3 mtrs and a 3.5mtr then you can get it home (they may charge extra for cutting it, depends who`s in).

Oh and its worth having a peek at their off cut rack for some larger stuff to do the top centre rail. They wont offer to show you so you need to ask!
