Grin Nope. I've learnt not to make such rash statements!
Spoke to Kev Rooney last night about getting the Pop SVA'd. The cut-off date for the commercial SVA registration test we're aiming for is October 2011, but unlike previous versions of the test, there's no time after that date for re-testing. October. That's it. If it ain't on the road by then we've gotta go for full kit car type registration. Still do-able, but a lot more rigourous & will mean a lot of modifications to our truck.
So..maybe..just maybe, we'll make it there this time around!

What? No dirt track oval racing next year?
Presumably that's connected to the change of organising club?

Already booked the accommodation - got the same room as last July!  Can't wait.  I so enjoyed it this year and next year I will know what to expect and can plan accordingly.

See you there Dave, JJ

Looks like fun but I don't fancy the camping cos you can't park next to your tent - what are these cabins you speak of?

only cabins left are the really basic ones that are near to the showers and toilets. i think they're the ones near the showfield. they just have 4 beds in them 11 quid each a night. not sure if you can park next to them. jj has booked into one of the hotel rooms i think.

Basic would do but there's only one of me so that's a no go, and the hotel's a bit pricy for me cos I spend a bit on rallies etc, never mind!

made some enquiries for a room and i got a positive reply from one, a maybe from one, a fully booked from one finally a no way jose from another. sent in me details by email the place is about the same distance from the pavillion as we were last year camping. the rooms in the lodge have all gone but they do have some rooms in the clubhouse so i've asked about one. its 18 quid but it'll beat trying to put up a tent if its crap weather.
