35th Anniversary of the famous Cruise.  Park in Battersea park after 5pm, and spend the evening cruising Kings Road and Chelsea Bridge.

Would love to do that one. Got fond memories of travelling up to Chelsea on the train as a schoolkid, (how many parents would let their kids do that now?), to spend the evening walking around the circuit, just watching the cars cruising by.

Its getting bigger every month but will never be like it was back in the old days. We restarted this a few years back after Steve Pyle (on here with the 65 nova) suggested getting it going again. Its a shame that the other person there has decided to tell everyone it was him that thought of restarting it.

There were always disagreements & clashes behind the scenes at Chelsea as I remember, but it was always the biggest & best regular meet in the country as far as I'm concerned.
Keep a spot warm for me guys -after spending so many Saturday nights there as a spectator in my youth, I'd love to go back as a participant once my Pop's finished.

I remember going up there when it was still a small cruise (as a passenger in a mates Consul Capri)..then going up again a few years later (about 28 years ago) in my V6 Corsair (Manged to blow my diff doing a burnout at the lights and ended up getting a push into a bus stop by my mates PA Cresta, then a tow home from him..lol)then a couple of months later in my Mk1 V8 Tina...It seemed to of lost some of the initial fun once it started getting too big.....Voodoo....

Hoping to get 4 of cars from the Victory Wheelers to cruise up.

Clashes with lots of shows that weekend, but looking forward to it.

Looks like it wasn't a bad turnout for a damp Saturday evening Dan.
Thanks for the photos.

A second gallery of photos now added, courtesy of one of my workmates, Bob.
Any chance of a few words Dan, explaining what it was all about?  Kiss
