trying to get my reliant trike engine running just to check everything is ok can any body do a drawing off what i need to get it running just to check all is ok

Well, make sure the motor is fastened down to sumat solid! Header fuel tank connected to the SU's float chamber, direct. 12v car battery fully charged and a "wander" lead with crocodile clip to S/W on coil from battery, other side of coil to distributor. Heavy duty lead from battery to "dab" on to the starter motor terminal,other side of battery(depending on + or - earth) to main engine casting, oh and temp. stiff wire onto choke arm,so you can close choke,and.....off you jolly well go. If you intend more than giving it a 'whirl', rig up a hose water supply,in, and out to drain, should be tickety-boo, good luck!! Morrag
