Visited my Son and his girlfriend in Portsmouth last week and they took me to Big Ernie's - World Famous Diner Bar which they had found just by chance while out clubbing in Southsea.  The diner had only been open a couple of weeks and is still looking very new.  Great selection of food at an affordable price and it has long opening hours with a drinks licence too.  It would be a great place for a party and they are encouraging that by not charging to have a party there. 

As you can see from the photos, the artwork is very good and it really fits my idea of what a diner should be.  It knocks the socks off the other diners I have visited and which have been mentioned previously on this site.

Take note organisers, it would be a great place for a Hot Rod meet.
