I always enjoy a simple walk in the rain. It seems to wash away all worries and cares.

Along similar lines, leaving the cottage to go to work at 5am each morning. In Summer I'm greeted by the rising sun across the woods & the birds already singing. In Winter I get to see the stars against a pitch black sky. After 24 years of working for Royal Mail, I'm still not used to getting up early every day, but I do enjoy being out & about before the rest of the World wakes up & buggers up the day.

A gentle ride through the countryside on a sunny late afternoon or early evening in Autumn. Wonderful colours, wonderful views, all my most memorable rides have been in Autumn.
