That's crazy! I saw a Pop based mobile home very much like Gertrude many years ago on the sea front at Lee On Solent. There's a huge amount of work gone into that from someone.

Thats very true and no wonder i`m seeing more n more notices like this.... i see the owners point of view but then again, it`s on public display and almost inevitable that someone will want to get `to close` to it.

That looks very familiar -or maybe it's just built in a very 70s style.
There's a Dodge Charger that turns up at some of the muscle car meets that was built as a charity give away for a radio station in the States. All the big names in the custom scene contributed to it. Now it belongs to someone over here, who bought it on Ebay. Yes, it might be worth a lot of money, but I always find the forest of Dont even think about touching my car signs around it a bit sad. What's the point of owning something you daren't leave parked up anywhere?
Mind you, I've also experienced moronic show goers who think that any vehicle on public display is fair game for them to poke & prod & scratch. I've watched people trying to climb aboard my trikes & seen them opening the doors of other people's cars & poking around inside them. Up to a point I can understand the notices -not that anyone takes any notice of them.
