Some of 'em look like the photo was been stretched, making the frames look even odder. The black 'un has one of those 'broken-back' look frames that seem to be particularly popular in the States. It's a very hard look to get right - most people don't. Matey with the black chop certainly didn't!  Grin Grin

I liked the little blue CB360 Honda bobber though.

This seems like a good time to ask - what';s the definition of a bobber?  And what's the diffrence between a bobber and a chop?

One of those questions you always mean to ask.....

As a very vague rule of thumb, bobbers tend to have standard frames with all the extraneous stuff removed (the shortened or 'bobbed' mudguards are where the name came from after WW2), whereas chops have modified or one-off frame.

But, these days, it's basically whatever people feel like calling stuff.  Huh

I'd agree with that Missy Wizzy, but personally I tend to think of chops as stretched & raked with form usually more important than function, while bobbers are normally shorter & squatter & thus handle better. Desperate & I were discussing that very question the other day, saying bobbers appear to be the next big retro trend & wondering if there was a better generic name for them.

Distorted pictures, apart from that Flat Nasty thing., where the bloke that built it must have been on Acid. Here's a totally undistorted one, my mate Atan in Malaysia's.

I'm guessing there aren't many roundabouts in Malaysia!  Grin
