A mate of as got a 1981 GS850 but..

Ignition dead...battery fine, lights etc fine but turn key & nowt happens

Any ideas

First thing i`d do would be to check the voltage at the switch. If you cant do that then look for a fuse on the ignition circuit, or a loose connection at the switch. You should have 2 wires coming off the plus side of the battery terminal, 1 goes to to the soleniod, the other to the fuse box, that fuse then feeds the ignition switch.
