Usualy i`m wary of buying cheaper discs and wheels, as i`ve had bad experiances in the past but thought i`d try these guys as the flap discs were less than half the price you will pay in a well known high street shop. I wasn`t dissapointed, very good quality. |

I know we're always told that cheap tools are a false economy, but must admit I always stock up on workshop consumables, (good word!), at autojumbles. Cheap or expensive, they never seem to last any longer. You're right though, I've had a couple of flap wheels fall apart in use over the years, flinging bits of emery paper across the bench. Always, always wear eye protection kids.

i bought some silverline slitting discs off ebay,they were cheap but put them near a piece of metal and they went down to nothing in seconds,but had some from aldi that were even cheaper and were great  |

what grit do you all use 60grit or 36grit as i sheetmetal worker and buy them by de 1000 so best you can buy last 10 time longer than normal even on welded joints ... but cheep as chips  |

I usually buy something like 80 grit. They start off quite fierce, so good for cutting back large areas, then as they wear down they become smoother, so good for finer work.
Something I use all the time, so if anyone can do a cheap deal on bulk orders, I'd be interested too.
