I haven't seen the bike but he did say its off a Triumph...

Hmm, books, Pinstriping Masters is a good'un, a mate is just finishing a new pinstriping book... I've seen some of the proof pages, definately one for the shopping list... www.korerobooks.co.uk ... various places sell Pinstriping Masters...

Here's the stripey Trumpet in question.
Photographed at the "HotRod Hayride" meet at the weekend. A weekend camping do in Bordon, Hants at the same site as the 3Bs' bike show with a run to Brooklands race circuit. Didn't do it but wish I had.

Just waved goodbye to this...



a Rewaco VW based trike... we weren't sure what colours to use but in the end I chose Bright Red and Ivory... in the sunlight the red really stands out against the purple flake... did the top box, back side panels, leading edge of the rear fenders, tank and front fender... he went away a happy chappy...







I had to sit on it to do the tank... never been on one before... they are pretty comfortable, all sat back with high bars.

PS. the lid is only out as it got striped as well...

Not personally a big fan of VW kit trikes, mainly cos they all look the same, but that's some lovely workmanship Sir.
