Hello Klogan45

Chevy Rick and I are going to Paignton tomorrow (Saturday) from about midday onwards.  We have PM'd you with his mobile number in case you want to meet up.

Had a nice day in Paignton yesterday.  Good run down in the car and made it there about midday.  Met up briefly with Klogan45 and his partner (nice to meet you both) who hail from Torquay.  It was a beautiful sunny day and we could not have asked for better weather.

Lots of bikes on the promenade but a lot less than on a decent Tuesday Poole Quay night.  Bands were playing and there was a small funfair but there were not that many stands and the ones that were there were mainly clothing and helmets.

Victory bikes were represented and I thought they were very attractive (see http://www.victory-vtwins.com/ - for UK link) and there was a trike (back end) very similar to the one feaured in http://www.mankymonkeymotors.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5494.0 which the owner said cost him about £35,000.  I can't remember if Chevy Rick took a photo or not. I will ask him.

We voted for the bikes in the centre of the field - categories were roughly trikes, racing, custom and just normal bikes (they just used colours so this is me guessing Roll Eyes.  There was a lovely Triumph Triple Trike but it looked like it was straight from the showroom with no effort from its owner so I didn't vote for that but it was gorgeous.  I hope they post the winners on their site - it will be interesting to see how other people voted.

Chevy Rick took quite a few photos so hopefully they will be posted fairly soon.

Cheers JayJay  Grin

Could this be the Royle family's day out on the Devonshire Riviera?
