Formerly run by the Executioners car club, the Ace has taken over the running of this meet themselves now. It gets very busy & parking is limited, so get there early if you want to avoid parking in neighbouring side streets.

There was a recent announcement on the National Street Rod Association saying the club hadn't fallen out with the venue owners in any way, but simply decided they'd been there & done that & fancied trying something new. A bit like me swapping from Jaffa Cakes to McVities Hob Knobs, (NOT!).

Soo.... does that mean they wont be a Spring Riot this year?   That was always a good day out and nice drive up the M3.

Yes, there'll still be a Riot type meet, just not organised by the Executioners, according to the info on the NSRA forum, (no idea if they'll change the name). It's listed on the Ace's fliers as being on the 6th May '09. 6pm onwards.
