i bought the axle it had already been stumped but when i lined it up on the bike it had been cut down a lot on on side 9.5""
nothing off the other side ? so to make it even i have had to cut the other side down by 5.5"" its now even when lined up !!!
when i bought it .. 1 shaft missing and hub were missing ??
ive cut the other shaft down by 5.5"" ready to get welded ?
gunna give joe a call today to sort shaft + hub ??
i would like to use this axle as i can get the trike into my back garden !!
for security and would like to build a workshop to work on it or for my next build if i finish this one ? Roll Eyes

you should finnish it in no time ,my mate 2 doors away has just got himself a 900 diversion with 4000 miles on the clock for 1200 quid,he then took 3,yes 3 days to turn it into a trike using a moggy minor axle, hes just waiting for the mudguards to be delivered,as he has not altered the origional frame it wont need to go through an msva test, lucky git.so you see it can be done quick time, get a move on mate ,you can come to monkey world with us,

If I follow your drift Scouse, then you have a axle that is 15" narrower than origional, which might give you some fun and games in the handling dept. I narrow them by 6" max. which is fine for "filtering" whilst still remaining stable. If security is a prob. then leave it as a bike, and then getting it through that gate isn't a prob! or make it folding, like some old time sidecar outfits! Morrag.

Sorry to hear of your health probs, but the warning re. too narrow an axle still stands, so beware, Morrag
