Just got back from visiting Brock's parents in Christchurch to discover this email waiting for us.
The engine for the new Brockmobile is being built in California and was supposed to be shipped and ready for Brock to have his first run in it before his 50th, unfortunately that didn't happen so it was a huge disappointment all round particular as the guy building the engine acquired the block for us over 2 years ago. however after seeing these pictures I can't help but think it will be worth the wait when it finally arrives.  'So what power will that thing kick out then?'

Not sure yet what sort of power this is going to make, it is going on the dyno next week, we should then have some idea.We don't actualy have an engine spec at the moment but we do know the block is a 383 Donovan in aluminum, the Injection System is an 8 stack enderle which we brought second hand at Avon Park 2 years ago then we took it over to the states for an overhaul. It looks to have an MSD 8 Ignition with a crank trigger, the con rods are GRP's,pistons are custom made and the sump doesn't look as though it will clear the ground when it's in the car. Grin

And yes I'm still drooling over it.  Smiley

Has it been that long ? very much on the back burner this one, I very occasionally have a bit of a look at it then walk away. It needs a big injection of fresh enthusiasm to get it moving again, and what do you know ? a couple of exceptionally nice men ventured across the water from the land of the walking clouds and really beat the body into shape over a few hours on Sunday, many, many thanks Tony and John, it looks bloody brilliant. I am also talking to Pat Cuss about the possibility of getting the mold made professionally, more to follow as it happens

A little bit of Darth Vader crept in here ? I really like the colour and finish, quite sinister in places, two bodies maybe ?
