Vehicle Description
You are bidding on an original, 1 of 503 made, 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona - 440 4-barrel, 4-speed. This is an all numbers matching car. This is the vin XX29L9BXXXXXX. This has been wrecked and trashed and stripped for many years - I heard it was wrecked in 1971. I have hunted down and found the original motor, no heads or intake or carb. I have also hunted down the original 4-speed transmission. I do not know where the rear end has gone. It was painted hemi orange before it was wrecked. I have the original fender tag, but it is half rotted, you can still read some of it. I also have the original dash tag and the trunk gutter number is correct to all of these items. The only thing that is not there is the radiator support number because someone had removed it to take the engine out years ago. But, other than that it is 100% a real Daytona. It is a project, but with the right ambition would be worth a lot of money done. Also, I do not have the nose or the wing, there is a small part of the base of the upright on the left quarter panel. This was also a counsel 4-speed car on the floor. Could be 1 of 1 with these colors and this option- but, I'm not sure. I have a transferable registration with this car. Bid with confidence. I will also be listing several more Mopars. I have been collecting these cars since I was a kid and I have a whole back yard of them. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Full payment required when car is picked up within 7 days from end of auction by bank cashiers check or cash.

The numbers matching engine, transmission, whats left of the fender tag, vin tag are included with the sale of the car. Don't be concerned with the color of the engine - the person I got it from paints all of his engines Ford blue and red - This is the original engine from the Daytona.
