I think you can'treally tell whether it will look better with or without till you see the wheels on the car with the final paint. Have to say that without those wheels remind me rather of the spare in the boot of my Nissan!

But probably considerably bigger than your space saver rim Bobbi! Know what you mean. I'm still rooting for the shiney trim rings, but then I'm biased cos I bought them! Have to keep telling myself I can't impose my tastes on it cos it's Taz's car, not mine. -hmm, shiney, shiney bits!

Hurrah! Someone agrees with me at last. I've got different sized wheels on my Pop Chris -15s on the front & 16s on the back, plus the rims are the wrong design for the trim rings to fit. I was gonna fit chrome wheel nuts on Taz's Charger anyway.

I love red band tyres -I considered putting them on my Pop, but they don't make red band cross plies. Don't know if there was a reason for the red, but they seem to be fitted almost exclusively to American muscle cars. Taz's Hercules tyres were expensive enough -I'm definitely not buying any more & not keen on painted stripes. Like the hubcaps though.

Rear wheels & tyres fitted. Couldn't shift the nuts on the front ones -using a 3 foot scaffold pole for some extra leverage merely bust my socket. We'll have to employ some air assisted muscle to get them off. What d'ya think?
