Rear view looks like something you might have on the road fairly soon - front view looks like a survivor from a demolition derby!

I bet you can't believe it's really yours Taz - even if it takes you years to get it up to scratch, it's a wonderful thing to have a dream and actually make it come true!

In some ways Bobbi's right and in some you are right Texon. I want/need to get it through an MOT as soon as possible cose I will be selling the BMW to fund it so I'll be carless. I/we'll be concentrating on that sort of stuff first. A friend of mine is a qualified MOT bloke he just doesn't do them any more so he knows the areas they will test. The other stuff can wait. Once it is on the road then we will work through the other stuff that needs doing.

Months -many, many months.  Tongue
If it were mine, I wouldn't bother prettying it up, just build it good & solid & mechanically sound & drive the hell out of it, bumps, dents, scrapes & all. I think beat up ol' Yank motors are much classier than pristine concourse condition ones. But it ain't my car.
Pretty cool to be able to say "A '69 Charger? Yeah, I've got one of those".  Cool

I agree a yank car with battle scars is much better to look at and more interesting than a well painted one where everyone is looking to find the mistake so they can pull it down and the battle scars scare lesser mortals  Grin Grin
