As the person who made the 'heap of scrap' comment I should clarify - I have a bike in my shed that's also a heap of scrap - the one I'm going to rebuild - so it wasn't meant unkindly!

It was just that I knew Tazet was hoping to get it driveable fairly quickly!!!!!!!   Shocked

That's ok Bobbi and I've been in contact with several people about the really hard bits but all the basic panels and bolting things back on I'm going to do while I'm at work on my coffee breaks. It will be hard but once the BMW is sold I will be car less so the need to get it on the road will be huge, as it will be my only car for the time being untill I can afford a run about.

It's the Suzuki that I wish I'd kept. At least Moo will still live on but in trike form.

I only said it was a huge amount of work  Huh   Didn't say Taz couldn't do it or it couldn't be done.

My trike will wait. I've said to Manky all along that his projects come first and mine last. I will be doing most of the work on this and if we have the odd spare bit of time then we might do bits on the trike. I have to get this car running as it will be all I have to use.

Anyway. Spoke to the boss and he said that it was ok for me to use the garage at work to build it in. He then said that he was glad to hear that we were not going to use filler and were doing it properly. I then got a full blown lecture on how my engine works and what part does what etc, etc, etc. At this rate I'm sure he'll probably lend a hand. Not bad for a Boss and a Lord at that. He also said that if I want to collect it on Tuesday that was fine so long as everything is ready for the show that we are going to. I didn't even ask him he just came out with it. So at least I know I have my boss on my side with this project.  Grin Still not been brave enough to tell the parents though.
