This brings back so many memories. I had a matt black Moggy pick up many moons ago just like this.
Wonder how this little beastie wound up in California.

Brock says:

I am really kicking myself about this one, I thought that it would be easy to track a car like this on the web, I assumed that it was the builders name and company on the door and jacket but I can't find anything relevant, I will keep looking as it is just covered in smart details. Look at the rear axle, looks to be floating, they have actually used trailing inclined quarter eliptic springs to support, suspend and locate the bottom and a torque tube to complete it, brilliant !

I can't decide if I really like this or not, undoubtedly talented but maybe a bit off ?

Yeah, one of the nicest I've seen too. Always liked 'em. I didn't realise until I got my Pop though just how confined they are inside. The doors are only half the length of standard Pop ones.

Hi Bobbi, I was just mildly interested in the details, I assumed that it would have some sort of web presence as nearly every tidy car does, but no luck so far. The shot was taken at Famoso, the strip just North of Bakersfield, but that doesn't mean much, there were cars there from all States and racers registered from nine countries (including the UK), it was a pretty big meet being the 50th anniversary.
