I've just said goodbye to my baby!  (She's only 30)   Cry

She's off to Europe in a campervan with her other half tonight and they don't intend to be back in UK till September and I'm gonna miss her SOOOOO MUCH!

Aww, Bobbi.  Cry Wanna borrow a tissue?
I went to Germany on my bike with a mate when I was 18. Mind you, that was only for a weekend. I'm sure they'll be fine! At least they know you're only ever a phone call away. Sounds like a great adventure. I'd love to travel & see the World.

They hope to earn some cash while away so that when they come back, they can decide whether to go back to Europe or further afield - USA? Oz? NZ? - rather than going back to work!

It is a great adventure but there are downsides - saying goodbye to her cat has been hard for Lucy - also to her zippy little car!  But she's let her house and taken a 'career break' from her job so she still has a toehold if she wants/needs to come back.

And we hope to fly out and spend a week with them somewhere, maybe Barcelona, we can camp in their awning!

Aw Bless!!!! Cry Cry They do things like that do children. They have a great time while you're at home worrying about your 'baby'. No matter how old they get they're still your children!!!!
My mum used to worry herself sick when I used to stay out etc. We did'nt have a phone and she gave me hell one day coz I'd been staying with a new 'friend' Grin and she phoned the police. They were not sympathetic at all. The copper asked how old I was, she said 17, he said " He'll be home when he's hungry" and guess what....he was right. Was it worth getting told off? It certainly was!!!!
I'm sure your 'baby' will be fine and have a brill time.
Have a good snivel thats what Mums do. (Dads too if the truth be known!!!!)

I went to Portugal to work when I was 18. It was hard to go and was hard for mum to say goodbye but we called each other when we could and it was the best thing I ever did and I know my mum would agree but it was hard at the time. I was gone for 2 years and I went alone. Bobby at least your baby has her partner with her.
