A while back I bought a Dnepr MT11 in bits. The thing had was built in 1990 and had only done 5800 miles.
Took it apart last week to check if was ok, as I was a bit suspicious as to why it had been taken off the road.
Turns out one piston had decided to migrate to the sump, taking the gudgeon pin with it.
Also found two cracks in the crankshaft timing wheel.

Now I have a spare Cossack gearbox, I have started thiinking about a Reliant bike again.
It will probably be next year now, but does anyone have a spare piggy lump knocking about?

Yes please.
It would do as a dummy to mock up a plate to mount the Ural box. Once that was done I could give it a going-over.
I'll come up and get it, but it might be in a week or two.
