im off on a 3 day mini - tour with the band today,aroud my home town ,newcastle,and the same next weekend,the band's stopping at my mums,that should be fun,see you peeps next week...........yeeeeehaaaarrr. Grin

hi peeps ,im back we were at
usworth/washington on friday Grin
raob club/middlesborough on saturday Shocked upstairs gig
hebburn iona on sunday  Grin

and will be at

sacriston wmc/co,durham on friday 23rd
jarrow labour saturday 24th
hartlepool iona on sunday 25th

all monkeys welcomed with a free beer  Grin Grin

had a great time,took a couple more bookings for next year,had a few beers,a great chinese meal,saw my mother and sister.its been a while since we played so far from home,used to do it regularly with my last band,so next year,hopefully our new agent will get us more work in england and a few of the larger festivals as well.

the REAL WORLD tour was an outstanding success mate,the fact that the band is a lot rockier than most country bands on the circuit was a bit of a matter for concern,but we needent have worried, Grin

doc,do you know a guy called David Addams,he's a cousin of "the governor", and plays one of them slide guitars I think and is obviously from the Newcastle area which is why I asked

the name seems familiar,but i dont think that i know him,sorry,its been about 10 - 12 years since i was playing the blues circuit around newcastle,im presuming he plays blues if its slide guitar you mean,if its lap or pedal steel you mean,its more than likely country that he plays,the thing about gigging ,is,you dont get to see many other bands,unless you're on at a festival together.
