Clearing ivy & digging up tree stumps in the new, extended garden.
Still amazed at just how much land you lot cleared last weekend.
We've stacked some of the fallen trees up to form a wall behind which will be Taz's compost heap.

Had a break at lunchtime & nipped up to Newlands Corner -a local beauty spot & meeting place for bikes & cars during the Summer. It's literally 5 minutes up the road from the cottage. Still quite busy, but mainly sports bikes, with a smattering of classics & a posse of off-roaders.

From there we carried on to BoxHill, another legendary local meeting place since before the War. Only 10 miles away so when you call in for a coffee in the Summer we can nip up there. Had a drink & shared a portion of chips & strolled around the carpark before heading home to carry on gardening.
